Honoring Missouri's Fallen Troopers....

We are grateful our legislative process provides the ability for Missourians to honor Troopers of the Missouri State Highway Patrol who died in the line of duty while serving communities throughout our state. The sign on the designated section of a roadway or bridge is not only a solemn reminder of how fragile life can be, but it tells these families and those who serve; "We haven't forgotten."

The link below shows the locations which are at, or near, where each of these tragedies occurred....we honor and remember their service.

In addition to these designations, during the 2016 legislative session, the portion of State Highway FF in Audrain County beginning at 2 Elmwood Drive and extending west of County Road 977 shall be designated the "Trooper James M. Bava Memorial Highway." Trooper Bava died in the line of duty on August 28, 2015.
